    • The ascent to La Puerta del Sol is always available and accesible. It is a pleasant place with a nice view of Machu Picchu. You can take this walk in you free time.
    • If you prefer to climb up to Huayna Picchu, you will have a spectacular view, but this should be reserved a long time in advance and the cost of it is 25 US$ per person. It is an hour and a half climb up of moderated difficulty.
    • Another option is Machu Picchu Montaña, an hour and a half, very steep, very physically demanding ascent, and the cost of it is 15 US$ per person. This is probably the most spectacular view, but the three options are very enjoyable and will allow you to take good photos.
